Who will win Panthers vs. Rangers Game 2? Stanley Cup Playoffs predictions, odds

After Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Florida Panthers have flipped home-ice advantage in their favor.

Three games apiece remain in each city, but the Panthers swung the power their way by defeating the New York Rangers 3-0 at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday to give themselves a 1-0 series lead. The two Stanley Cup Playoffs semifinalists square off once more in New York on Friday night before the series heads to Florida.

Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky out-dueled fellow Russian Igor Shesterkin in net by making 23 saves to keep a clean sheet in the box score. Florida star player Matthew Tkachuk opened the scoring for the Panthers in the first period and assisted on an empty-net goal that sealed the victory in the third.

Here's everything to know going into an important Game 2.

Florida Panthers forward Dmitry Kulikov (7) and New York Rangers forward Will Cuylle (50) collide during the second period of Game 1.
