Who will win the NCAA Tournament Clemson baseball regional? Our predictions are in
Clemson baseball earned its highest NCAA Tournament seed since 2006 and will host a regional as the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Tigers were rewarded for their midseason turnaround and current 16-game winning streak with a very tough draw in the regional.
Clemson opens play Friday (1 p.m. ET, ESPN+) against Lipscomb (36-24), the ASUN champions who rank No. 14 nationally with 106 home runs. Also in the Clemson Regional are Tennessee (38-19) and Charlotte (34-26).

Clemson wins regional: It would be difficult to pick against Clemson considering the way the Tigers have been playing of late. This is a much different team than the one we saw early in the season, and the “reborn” Tigers enter the regional riding a 16-game winning streak and showing few if any chinks in their armor. Got to go with Clemson.

Tennessee wins regional: It is hard to pick against Clemson — but streaks end eventually. Tennessee is not a perfect team, and it has struggled on the road, but the Volunteers have a lineup full of talent, a solid pitching staff and plenty of power in their bats. I think it will be close, but Tennessee will advance.
