William Penn swimmer wins Winter Week 3 Delaware Online top athlete vote
Congratulations to Kayla Hewes of William Penn girls swimming, Delaware Online Athlete of the Week for Week 3 of the winter season. The freshman won the 200 and 500 freestyles and started the winning 400 free relay in an 83-67 win over Christiana.
Hewes won an online vote over four other nominees. Check out this week’s nominees on Delaware Online and vote for your favorite. Voting is free and runs Monday through Thursday, with the weekly winner announced each Friday.
