Where Texas’ Jahleel Billingsley lands in On3’s tight end rankings ahead of 2022

The Longhorns are expected to see dramatic improvement at the tight end position this upcoming season.

Along with sophomore tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders reportedly making positive strides this offseason, Texas was also able to land one of the top tight ends available in the transfer portal.

Former Alabama tight end Jahleel Billingsley is expected to thrive in Steve Sarkisian’s offseason. Since committing to Texas in January, the talented pass catcher has instantly been viewed as an immediate starter for the Longhorns.

On top of that, he’s widely considered one of the top tight end prospects for the 2023 NFL draft. A successful season in Austin would only heighten those evaluations.

Billingsley recently landed within the top 10 of On3’s tight end rankings ahead of the 2022 college football season. Three Georgia players were also included near the top of the list.

Here’s a look at where they each landed.
