Where will Aaron Jones land next? 3 potential NFL teams, and yes, Dallas Cowboys are one

For the first time in a career that has spanned seven years, Aaron Jones will be with someone other than the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers signed Josh Jacobs from the Las Vegas Raiders, then released Jones with one year left on his contract.

The consensus around the league is that Jones won't be free for long, as his name has already been linked with several teams.

Here are some potential landing spots

Dallas Cowboys

Jones' favorite team growing up is in the market for a featured running back after last year's No. 1, Tony Pollard, went to the Tennessee Titans. That also means Tennessee star Derrick Henry is now on the market.

Dallas would seem to be Jones' first choice if the money works out, though the bad news is that if he's playing for them, he can't play against him, and Jones has destroyed Dallas through the years.

Houston Texans

Tailback is the Texans' most significant need after losing Devin Singletary to the New York Giants and their offer to Saquon Barkley was spurned. Jones would probably enjoy staying in Texas.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are another team that lost its tailback, as Gus Edwards left for the Chargers. They are looking for a replacement and the opportunity to play with dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson would be tantalizing.
