How well do you know the college roots of today’s NBA players?

Most of us know plenty about our favorite players in the NBA, especially the lore-laden rosters of the Boston Celtics. But even among some fairly die-hard Celtics fans, we can have gaps in our collective knowledge of where those players played before they ever suited up in the green and white.

To test their knowledge of where some notable Celtics alumni and other players from around the league played ball at the NCAA level before making the NBA, the folks behind the Clutch Points YouTube channel put together a clip quizzing themselves on the college homes of well-known players in the Association.

Where did former Boston forward Gordon Hayward play collegiately (hint – he played there under the same coach of the Celtics at the time he was in Boston)? And what about present-day Celtics reserve center Blake Griffin?

Take a look at the clip embedded above and see how your memory stacks up.
