Week 8 NIC-10 football stats: Leonard Spates, Javius Catlin moving up the most

Auburn's Leonard Spates and East's Javius Catlin were the biggest movers in the NIC-10 stats races last week, both scoring three long touchdowns to lead their teams to wins. Catlin's 241 yards on the ground last week gave him 1,161 on the season. He now leads the area large school runners by more than 200 yards. He also passed Rob Dal Santo, Austin Smaha and Steve McShane to move into second all-time on the NIC-10 career rushing list, 160 yards behind Harlem's Brenton Shaw with one game left in his career.

Spates three catches for 138 yards last week were fourth most in Auburn history, trailing only Davone Stanfield (169 yards), Athavion Coleman (144) and Elgia Leigh (143). He moved up to fourth in the NIC-10 in receiving.
