Week 4 high school football roundup: Clyde suffers setback, Margaretta routs and more

Ashton Martin twice ran in from 5 yards Friday and tossed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Moyer in Bellevue's 26-0 shutout of Norwalk.

Haydn Sartor forced a turnover on downs before Moyer's score. Tate Corapi recovered a fumble to set up Martin's first score on the ground.

Bellevue (3-1) recovered a fumble on a kickoff before Martin's second touchdown run. Jackson Martin caught a 50-yard pass before Brody Horn ran in from the 4.

Margaretta 60, St. Joseph Central Catholic 0

Julian Washington returned punts 55 and 40 yards for touchdowns for Margaretta.

Judah Keller ran in from 33 yards and tossed a 48-yard touchdown pass to Kaine Smetzer. Jordan Luzader (1 yard), Jake Bouy (6), Tripp Limberios (47) and Christian Keegan (3) added scores on the ground for the Polar Bears (2-2, 1-0).

Ayden Miller returned an interception 45 yards for a score and Margaretta scored all its points in the first three quarters.

Genoa 55, Fostoria 14

Aidan Antry rushed for three touchdowns and caught three scoring passes from Aiden Brunkhorst for Genoa.

Antry had 100 yards on only six carries and 126 yards on five receptions. Brunkhorst completed 14 of 18 passes for 197 yards with one interception.

Antry had touchdown catches covering 48 and 35 yards and ran one in from 45. Brunkhorst completed 43 of 50 passes the last three weeks.

Alex Materni rushed for a score for the Comets (3-1, 1-0).

Ethan Crawford and Jagger Magnone each had two of Genoa's seven sacks. Crawford returned a fumble 37 yards for a touchdown.

Genoa allowed 33 yards on 15 carries and rushed for 227 yards on 18 tries. The Comets had 470 yards of offense.

Genoa led 26-8 after one quarter and 47-8 at the half.

Cardinal Mooney 36, Clyde 26

Clark Norman rushed for three touchdowns for Clyde.

Clyde trailed 14-12 after three quarters as Norman ran in from 8 yards. The Fliers trailed 22-20 after Norman scored from 51 yards.

Chancy Miracle added a 25-yard touchdown run and a failed conversion again prevented a tie, 28-26. Miracle had 63 yards on six carries.

Norman had 158 yards on 15 totes, including a 13-yard touchdown. Clyde (3-1) had 296 yards on 38 carries.

Brennan Wilson had 41 yards on seven carries and completed 7 of 10 passes for 57 yards, including two catches for Kam Shortridge.

Liberty-Benton 50, Port Clinton 14

Kii Pinkelton returned a kickoff 90 yards for a Port Clinton touchdown.

Dagan Meyers caught a 7-yard scoring pass from Gabe Koskela for Port Clinton (2-2).
