Bohannon's firing also comes days after reports of banning of legal bets on Alabama baseball games in Ohio and New Jersey after suspicious betting activity on one of Alabama baseball's games last weekend. The Athletic reported Thursday that Bohannon was connected to the betting activity, and that there was no evidence that players were involved in the matter.
