Watch: UNC commit Elliot Cadeau put on a show at Nike EYBL tournament

Before sending Twitter into a frenzy Tuesday morning by announcing his decision to reclassify, Elliot Cadeau put on a clinic during the last few days, displaying what’s to come to UNC this fall.

Cadeau’s decision to reclassify and join UNC this fall came at the right time. North Carolina fans were at a loss when numerous players entered the transfer portal. However, watching Cadeau putting on a show this past year has kept fans reassured about the future. Once again, this past weekend, fans got a glimpse of what is to come with Cadeau competing in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.

Session 4 is where the five-star point guard shined, showcasing his shot-making, ball handling and court vision. Cadeau finished with 29 points and 15 assists.

This outing is neither the first nor the last Cadeau performed at a high level. He made breathtaking plays all year. Cadeau will play a significant role in Hubert Davis’s offense with expectations of being a Day 1 starter.
