Watch: Will Shipley ranked as the No.1 running back in the ACC
Not only is Will Shipley the best player on the Clemson offense heading into the 2023 season, but he is also the best running back in the ACC.
The 2022 season was a strong one for Shipley, who was the top producer on the Clemson offense. He took 210 carries for 1,182 yards and 15 touchdowns, adding 38 receptions for 242 yards.
It was a strong season for Shipley, but it could have been far better. Throughout last season, the star running back was often not used properly and, at times, phased out of games he should have been the focal point of. It was a weird season, but with the addition of 2022 Broyles Award winner Garrett Riley as the Tigers’ offensive coordinator, expectations for 2023 are sky-high for Shipley.
