Watch: Sean McVay gives locker room speech after Rams’ Week 5 win

On Sunday afternoon, Sean McVay returned to the place where he made a name for himself as a coach, taking on his former team in Washington. It was his first win against his old team after losing to the then-named Redskins in 2017 – his second game as a head coach.

After the victory, McVay gave a speech to his players in the locker room, telling them what a great job they did in the 30-10 win. His speech was briefer than normal and didn’t include game balls being handed out, but it was still a good way to cap off a great day in Landover for the Rams.

McVay’s squad is headed home to Los Angeles for a week of preparation before taking on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6 at Levi’s Stadium. At 4-1, this is about as good as the Rams could’ve hoped to start the season – especially considering they would be 5-0 if not for a questionable pass interference penalty on Darious Williams.
