WATCH: Ryan Day and Ohio State players preview Minnesota

We are in the middle of game week prep despite it only being Monday for the Ohio State football team. That’s because the game this week is a rare Thursday one, so things are a couple of days ahead of schedule as things plan out.

Head coach Ryan Day met with the media today to hold his first game-week press conference, and in case you missed any of it, we’re bringing it to you thanks to OhioStateBuckeyes.com. The Buckeyes are favored by -13.5 heading to the Twin Cities to take on a Golden Gopher team looking to bounce back from a step-back year last season, and Day had plenty to say.

Click on the below tweet and head on over to Day’s press conference where he discusses the challenge of going on the road to start the season, how veteran Minnesota is, the rotation at several position groups, and more.

As a bonus, linebacker Teradja Mitchell, tight end Jeremy Ruckert, offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere, and defensive end Zach Harrison also took some time at the podium.

Ohio State and Minnesota are set to do battle on Thursday night at 8 p.m EDT. The game will be nationally televised on FOX.
