How to watch as No. 2 LSU baseball hosts Northwestern State for Tuesday night action at The Box
The Tigers return to Alex Box Stadium on Tuesday night licking their wounds after suffering their first series loss on the road against Auburn.
LSU (37-10) spent the entire year as the unanimous No. 1 seed, but coach Jay Johnson’s team has now dropped in the polls following a series defeat and losses in two of the last three midweek games. It will hope to replicate last week’s run-rule win over Southeastern Louisiana as it plays host to Northwestern State (25-20) on Tuesday night.
The Demons enter this one at just 10-8 in Southland Conference play, and they’re coming off a 2-1 series loss on the road against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
LSU will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday night at The Box. Here’s what you need to know to follow that one.

Quoting Jay Johnson
Per a release:
“We will make the adjustments that we need to, whether it be mental or physical, and get back to work. That’s what our team has done all year, and I’m excited about that. I woke up incredibly energized this morning to get into this week. We’re excited about facing a very good team in Northwestern State, getting our guys out there executing and improving, and doing what it takes to win a game.”
