How to watch No. 1 LSU women’s basketball’s second exhibition against Loyola on Wednesday night

After absolutely dismantling Division III East Texas Baptist 99-26 in its first exhibition game last week, the preseason No. 1 LSU women’s basketball team is back in action at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Tuesday night for what will be its second and final preseason exhibition before the regular season begins in Las Vegas against Colorado.

This time, the Tigers draw an NAIA opponent in Loyola (New Orleans). The Wolf Pack are coming off a stellar 27-3 season that ended in the first round of the NAIA tournament.

They are No. 14 in the NAIA rankings and enter this game at 1-0 on the season having scored a 91-62 win over Texas A&M-Texarkana. Loyola played an exhibition game against a Division I opponent in Tulane on Monday night, falling 72-38.

We saw a starting lineup filled with newcomers in the first exhibition, and coach Kim Mulkey is likely to experiment with rotations once more in this one.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch Wednesday night’s exhibition.

Prediction

I’ll keep it real here. Predicting the score of the first exhibition game was pretty tricky, and my projection seemed ludicrous. Well, the Tigers won by even more than my projected 65-point margin. It’s hard to compare teams between levels, but this matchup could be a bit tougher against one of the NAIA’s better squads. It won’t be that tough, though.

Prediction: LSU 105, Loyola 45
