Watch: Nets’ Nic Claxton showing improved mid-range game

Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton had quite a 2022-23 season as he had his best season in the NBA, showing in all of his stats. In the thick of the offseason, in what should be a delight to Nets fans, it looks like Claxton is expanding his game.

In a video posted by NetsKingdom on X (video below), Claxton is showing something that fans haven’t seen from him in his four seasons in the league thus far. Claxton starts the offensive sequence in question with something familiar as he displayed his handles on more than a few occasions this past season.

However, what happened after he completed his dribble move was something to behold. Instead of passing to a teammate or taking the ball all the way to the rim like Brooklyn fans are used, he took a turnaround jumpshot in the post.

If Claxton can do something like that in addition to his awesome finishing at the basket, he will be well on his way to scoring 20 points per game.
