Friday was a memorable day at Notre Dame as ESPN is in town ahead of “College Gameday” on Saturday morning. Before that show kicks off though the highly acclaimed “Pat McAfee Show” broadcast from the library lawn on the set Gameday will use Saturday.
Some background, Ty Schmit is a producer on the show and for years now has done an incredible Lou Holtz impression.
With the show on campus and Lou Holtz also there, the real Lou Holtz sat down with faux-Lou Holtz and it resulted in pure gold.

The real Lou turned 86 back in January and he has me ready to run through a brick wall before kickoff Saturday.
