How to Watch: Florida gymnastics in NCAA Championships Semifinals
The second-ranked Florida gymnastics team gets set to compete in the 2023 NCAA Championship Semifinals held inside Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, April 13, and if you are looking to follow the action you have come to the right place.
The Gators find themselves up against the California Golden Bears, LSU Tigers and Denver Pioneers in the penultimate round of this year’s tournament after a grueling grind through the earlier rounds. The Orange and Blue lost their top competitor, standout Trinity Thomas, in the Pittsburgh Regional Finals and is still unsure of whether she will be able to compete.

Florida advanced to the NCAA Championships 38 times in the meet’s 39-year history, missing the 2000 and 2019 events. Florida moved from NCAA Championships semifinal competition to the NCAA team final 15 of the Gators’ last 18 national competition appearances (2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022).

2023 Awards
Trinity Thomas earned her third SEC Gymnast of the Year honor and is one of two in league history with three such honors.
Kayla DiCello is the 10th Gator named SEC Freshman of the Year. Sloane Blakely, Victoria Nguyen and Leanne Wong joined them on the All-SEC team.
Three Gators earned a national-high 11 Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Regular-Season All-America honors.
Thomas is one of three in 2023 to earn All-America honors in each of the five events.
Also collecting All-America honors were DiCello (all-around, bars & beam) and Wong (all-around, bars & beam).
