WATCH: Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa struggles in Precision Passing challenge at Pro Bowl Games

On Thursday night, the NFL hosted its first night of events for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, and plenty of Miami Dolphins were involved.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, appearing in his first Pro Bowl, was selected for the precision-passing challenge, but his showing left a lot to be desired.

Tagovailoa, known for his accuracy, struggled to get much going throughout the event, scoring the fewest points among the six participants. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield walked away with the victory, earning the NFC points in the overall competition.

After the battle, Tagovailoa told ESPN’s Ryan Clark that he felt the pressure.

“I felt a lot of pressure,” Tagovailoa said. “A lot of the guys are good throwers. I didn’t come with the A game that I wanted to today.”

This would’ve been a great opportunity for Miami’s quarterback to make a statement, even in a silly game. Now, however, his performance will just give more ammo to his detractors.
