WATCH: DeAndre Hopkins indicates Chiefs, Bills are preferred trade destinations

Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins has been the subject of trade rumors for over a month now. He doesn’t have any control over whether he will or won’t be traded, but it appears he has some preferred trade destinations should something happen.

In a recent interview with CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden during “The Catch”, Hopkins was asked to react to some potential trade destinations, but only using body language and facial expressions and not words. Surprisingly he was only asked about four AFC teams (three AFC East teams). His body language and facial expressions narrowed it down to two potential destinations.

First, he was asked about the New England Patriots and he didn’t seem to have much of a reaction other than to look away. That one was presumably a “no.”

Next, he was asked about the Buffalo Bills. He basically nodded his head to suggest “yes” on this one.

Third, he was asked about the New York Jets, who still don’t have a trade done for Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. Hopkins didn’t seem to want anything to do with that mess right now.

Lastly, he was asked about the Kansas City Chiefs. His eyes got really wide, seemingly suggesting that he’d be OK to land with the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Hopkins could wind up with any of the 31 teams in the league if Arizona does decide to trade him. Right now, there’s no indication that anything is imminent involving Hopkins. Still, it’s fun to at least get some inkling of the types of teams he’d be excited to play for.
