WATCH: Cardinals rookie LB Isaiah Simmons gets 1st career sack

Rookie linebacker Isaiah Simmons has not had many opportunities to make plays for the Arizona Cardinals this season because of limited playing time. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 draft has been brought along slowly.

However, he apparently likes to face the Seattle Seahawks.

In Week 7, he had his first career interception in overtime, setting up Arizona’s game-winning field goal.

On Thursday night in the first quarter, he had his first career sack.

Here is the play.

The play came on third down and forced a 3-and-out in Seattle’s second possession.

If this trend continues, because the Cardinals play the Seahawks twice a season, we can expect big plays from the potentially dynamic linebacker for years to come.
