Watch Cade Beloso's game-winning HR for LSU baseball in the College World Series

OMAHA, Neb. — Cade Beloso launched a home run over the right-field wall in the top of the 11th inning of Saturday's College World Series final opener to give LSU baseball a 4-3 lead over Florida.

Beloso's blast came after the Tigers (52-16) got a home run in the top of the eighth from Tommy White to even the score at 3-all.

Florida (53-15) looked to be poised to take the lead in the bottom of the 10th when Wyatt Langford, a projected top-five MLB Draft pick, stepped to the plate with one out and two on. He sent a hard drive into left field, but Josh Pearson made an athletic, leaping catch to hold the runners and the get second out of the inning. The Tigers punched out Jack Caglianone on a shallow popup for out No. 3.

Beloso made the most of Tigers' momentum, leading off the top of the 11th with a bomb on an 0-1 count to give LSU a 4-3 lead and a chance for a 1-0 CWS series advantage.
