How to watch Broncos vs. Lions: Predictions, injury news, odds for Saturday Night Football
The Denver Broncos (7-6) are set to face off against the Detroit Lions (9-4) in a Week 15 Saturday night game. Despite losing to the Chicago Bears 28-13 in Week 14, the Lions are currently at the top of the NFC North standings.
The Lions have lost their last two matchups and quarterback Jared Goff struggled in the loss against the Bears. Goff completed 20 of 35 pass attempts for 161 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. So far this season, Goff has turned over the ball eight times - five interceptions and three fumbles.
On the other hand, the Broncos bounced back from their previous loss to the Houston Texans and threw their name back into the AFC playoff race conversation. They secured a 24-7 win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14. Quarterback Russell Wilson completed 21 of 33 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns. The Broncos are fighting for one of the final two playoff spots heading into Week 15.
Week 15: Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions Predictions
BetMGM: Lions will win
Staff writes: "The winning team model predicts the Lions will win this Week 15 game with 63.4% confidence, based on game simulations, player injuries, offensive & defensive matchups and recent game results."
ESPN: Lions have a 59% chance of winning
According to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, the Detroit Lions have a 59.3% chance of beating the Denver Broncos in Week 15.
Pickswise: Lions -4.0
Staff writes: "It’s easy for everyone in the media to declare the Lions frauds after their loss to the Bears, but let’s not overreact to one bad game. And quietly, Chicago has actually been playing pretty well recently. Detroit is still 9-4 on the year, and they’ve put up 20+ points in 11 of 13 games. The mood around the Broncos has shifted considerably, but this is still a team that has losses to the Raiders, Commanders and Jets on their resume. And they somehow managed to give up 31 points in that loss to the Jets, which is almost as bad as when they gave up 70 to the Dolphins. The current narratives around both of these teams are shaded by regency bias, and it’s our job to fade that regency bias."
Winners and Whiners: Detroit Lions -4
Staff writes: "The Denver Broncos are beatable on the road where they are 3-3. The Detroit Lions dropped a road decision to the Bears last week but are a resilient group that has yet to lose two straight games all season. They have won four of their last five home games."
