Cora Gentzel, Michaela Gross and Kayla Hawbecker, Smithsburg girls cross country — Gentzel placed second (20:43.6), Gross took third (21:03.9) and Hawebecker was fourth (21:28.2) in the small-school girls race at Hereford's Bull Run Invitational, leading the Leopards to the team title.

Jakob Davidson, Boonsboro boys cross country — Placed first at Smithsburg's Don Stoner Invitational in 18:02.9.

Lauren Stine and Walker Mason, North Hagerstown cross country — Each earned a medal at the competitive Judges Classic at Kernstown Battlefield in Winchester, Va., Stine placing sixth in the girls race in 19:46.6, and Mason placing 18th in the boys race in 17:11.6.

JJ Hull, Dillon Albowicz, Johnny Tiznado and Tyce McConnaughey, Clear Spring boys soccer — Hull scored three goals, Albowicz had two goals and an assist, Tiznado had a goal and three assists and McConnaughey made four saves for the shutout against Saint James.

Matthew Downs, Reid Bowman and Gavin Sprout, Williamsport boys soccer — Downs had a goal and an assist, Reid Bowman had two assists and Sprout made three saves for the shutout against South Hagerstown.

Friday

Mollie Rebuck, St. Maria Goretti girls soccer — Rebuck scored three goals in a tie against FCA.

Grace Larrivee, Isabel Lear, Alexis Myers and Ella Papa, Grace Academy volleyball — Larrivee had 13 kills and three blocks, Lear had 23 digs, Myers had 15 digs and Papa added eight kills in a win over Shalom.

Sydni Smith, Izzy Becker and Shianne Hill, St. Maria Goretti volleyball — Smith had nine kills and 10 digs, Becker had 13 digs and Hill added 12 digs in a loss to the Frederick Force.

Thursday

Caydence Doolan, Baylee Doolan, Emily Gasaway and Sydney Wilt, North Hagerstown volleyball — Caydence Doolan had 17 kills, Baylee Doolan had 16 kills, Gasaway had 38 assists and nine digs, and Wilt added 10 digs in a sweep of Williamsport.

Addy Zeigler, Callie Hose, Emilee Hixon and Emerson Moats, Clear Spring volleyball — Zeigler had 11 kills, four aces and three blocks, Hose had nine kills and 17 digs, Hixon had 34 assists and 12 digs, and Moats added 25 digs in a sweep of Jefferson.

Chloe Fisher, Kassidy Meadows, Emily Ryder, Calli Haugh and Sid Cecco, Smithsburg volleyball — Fisher had 36 assists and 16 digs, Meadows had 17 kills and 10 digs, Ryder had 13 kills, Haugh had 20 digs and Cecco added 15 digs in a win over Linganore.

Erilyn Schleigh, North Hagerstown girls soccer — Schleigh had two goals and an assist in a win over Williamsport.

Madi Ebersole, Clear Spring girls soccer — Ebersole made 10 saves for the clean sheet against Spring Mills.

Piper Meredith and Kadan Jones, Boonsboro golf — Meredith shot a 1-over 37 to tie for second place overall and win girls medalist honors, and Jones shot a 3-over 39 to place fifth overall in an eight-team match at Black Rock. The Warriors finished second as a team, one shot behind Walkersville.

Roland Wright, St. Maria Goretti golf — Wright shot a 1-over 37 at Black Rock, tying for second place overall in an eight-team match.

Elizabeth Warren, Emerson Shank and Skylar Norris, Williamsport volleyball — Warren had 20 digs, Shank had 18 assists and Norris added nine kills and two blocks in a loss to North Hagerstown.

Wednesday

Yemeli Akaya, Bailey Crampton and Delaney Crampton, Saint James volleyball — Akaya had 10 kills and six blocks, Bailey Crampton had 24 assists and Delaney Crampton added six kills and four aces in a sweep of St. Maria Goretti.

Lauren Jones, Annalyse Gibson, Breann Reed and Aly Phillips, Boonsboro volleyball — Jones had 19 assists, Gibson had seven kills, Reed had nine digs and Phillips added seven aces in a sweep of Thomas Johnson.

Sydni Smith and Shianne Hill, St. Maria Goretti volleyball — Smith had 15 digs and Hill added 11 digs in a loss to Saint James.

Samantha O'Connor, MaKayla Wright, Erilyn Schleigh and Sadie Lydiate, North Hagerstown girls soccer — O'Connor scored four goals, Wright had three goals and an assist, Schleigh scored two goals and Lydiate had a goal and an assist in a win over South Hagerstown.

Emily Gasaway, Baylee Doolan, Caydence Doolan and Lauren Hobbs, North Hagerstown volleyball — Gasaway had 26 assists and seven digs, Baylee Doolan had 12 kills and five digs, Caydence Doolan had nine kills and eight digs and Hobbs had seven kills and seven aces in a sweep of South Hagerstown.

Bryson Rohrer, North Hagerstown boys soccer — Scored two goals in a win over South Hagerstown.

Macy Rhinaman and Alexis House, Boonsboro girls soccer — Rhinaman scored five goals and House had two goals in a win over Clear Spring.

Carson Furajter and Grace Ellis, Smithsburg girls soccer — Furajter had two goals and an assist, and Ellis had a goal and an assist in a win over Catoctin.

Emma Smith, Grace Larrivee, Elise Barnhart, Isabel Lear and Alexis Myers, Grace volleyball — Smith had 15 kills, 17 digs and four aces, Larrivee had 16 kills and three blocks, Barnhart had 20 assists and seven digs, Lear had 21 digs and Myers had 16 assists and 11 digs in a four-set win over Saint James.

Ella Grove, Ava Dahn and Lilly Yurche, Heritage volleyball — Grove had 13 kills and 14 digs, Dahn had 10 kills and 11 digs and Yurche had 21 assists in a four-set win over New Life.

Delaney Crampton, Yemeli Akaya and Bailey Crampton, Saint James volleyball — Delaney Crampton had 17 kills and 16 digs, Akaya had 13 kills and six blocks, and Bailey Crampton added 39 assists in a loss to Grace.
