Washington Commanders at Los Angeles Rams: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 15 game

The Los Angeles Rams (6-7) remain in the playoff picture, and they'll look for a boost when they host the Washington Commanders (4-9) in Week 15.

Washington is hoping the week off will help build a strong end for the season, as their most recent outing was a 30-point loss to the Miami Dolphins. The Commanders have lost four in a row and are all but out of the playoff race, so the final weeks will be crucial to whether Ron Rivera will remain the head coach next season.

It was a heartbreaking loss for the Rams in Week 14 after they were able to take the Baltimore Ravens to overtime before losing on a walk-off punt return touchdown. Still, Los Angeles is in the running for a playoff spot, and another winning streak could begin back at home this week.

Lorenzo Reyes: Rams 27, Commanders 19

Los Angeles kept it close against a very good Ravens team. The Commanders are coming off their bye but have lost four in a row, six of their last seven and haven’t covered in their last three. The offensive line is a massive problem and the coaching staff is in danger of losing their jobs and the veterans.

Tyler Dragon: Rams 24, Commanders 16

Sean McVay deserves coach of the year consideration for what he’s been able to do during a transition year for the Rams. WR Puka Nacua broke the Rams rookie receiving yards record. Aaron Donald needs three tackles for loss to pass Julius Peppers for third-most all-time in NFL history. The Commanders are going to have a difficult time containing Donald and the LA passing attack.

Safid Deen: Rams 23, Commanders 13

The Rams found a standout tailback in Kyren Williams and have operated around him with Matt Stafford finding Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua for timely catches. The Rams will have enough to beat the floundering Commanders.

Victoria Hernandez: Rams 28, Commanders 21

The Rams have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league with a three-game win streak before they gave the Ravens quite a run for their money. Puka Nacua is one of the most inspirational stories in the league and he and Los Angeles should notch the home win.

Jordan Mendoza: Rams 34, Commanders 26

Los Angeles' effort in Baltimore proved this team is legit, even with a loss. The offense was able to score effectively in Baltimore, and they shouldn't have much trouble going against a team that is giving up an NFL-worst 30.4 points per game. This game is an excellent candidate to hit the over.
