Want to see Lionel Messi in Columbus? Crew releases ticket prices for Inter Miami CF game

Crew fans who want to have a chance to see Lionel Messi during the 2024 MLS season will have to pay nearly $400, and that's before tickets hit the resale market.

Single-game tickets for the Crew's home matchup with Inter Miami CF at Lower.com Field went on sale to season-ticket holders Monday with prices starting at $382.

Single-game tickets for the Nordecke fan section started at $421. The most expensive tickets available were in section 134 next to both benches for $679 each.

"While our 2024 MLS schedule is to be determined, we recognized there was significant fan interest in securing tickets to our home match against Inter Miami CF, regardless of the date and time," the Crew said in a statement. "In preparation for the holiday season, we opened a limited number of single-match tickets exclusively for our season ticket members this morning as we always prioritize our supporters through early access for events at our venues.”

The select inventory will be offered to the public (Tuesday), if quantities remain. Single-match tickets to all 2024 Crew home games at Lower.com Field will be available following the announcement of our schedule, when season ticket members will receive presale opportunities for additional tickets.”

The date and time for the Crew's match against Inter Miami CF has yet to be announced as the Crew's 2024 schedule has not yet been released.

While the Crew would not release specific numbers for 2024 season ticket packages, the team said in June that season tickets would be available for as low as $29.75 per game, an increase of less than $2 per game compared to 2023.

That would make some Crew season-ticket packages less expensive than the highest-priced ticket for next season's home match against Inter Miami CF.

The Crew's next game is against Orlando City SC on the road in the MLS playoffs. That Eastern Conference semifinal matchup is Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
