Augusta-area high school football games are underway, but who would be your pick for player of the year?
That's a question that's entirely too early to answer, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun. The votes are in and who did the readers select?
Thomson defensive back Storm Hunt took the top spot in overwhelming fashion with 58.8 percent of the vote. Bulldogs’ linebacker/defensive back Jamere Roberts (19 percent) finished second and Aquinas linebacker Wesley Michaelson (8 percent) placed third.
