It's time for another round of voting for our Athlete of the Week brought to you by Pocial.

Last week turned into a two-person race and in the end, Shadow Hills volleyball player Dagny Perrance edged Indio volleyball's Brianna Fabian in a close vote.

Perrance helped the Knights pull off an upset of La Quinta on the opening night of DEL play as she had 13 kills, six digs and four aces in the win.

Amelia Candari

Palm Desert golf

What she did: Candari helped the strong Palm Desert girls' golf team continue its excellent play. Candari had rounds of 40 and 41 for the Aztecs in two matches during last week, both wins.

Addison Curtis

La Quinta volleyball

What she did: Curtis, a junior captain for the Blackhawks, played consistently well during La Quinta's 3-0 win over Palm Springs on Monday, contributing four kills and a block as the Blackhawks picked up their first DVL win of the year.

Sara Hanley

Xavier Prep volleyball

What she did: Hanley led the Saints in kills with seven in a 3-0 win over Shadow Hills on Monday, following up another solid effort in wins over Rancho Mirage and Elsinore on Wednesday and Friday.

Sebastian Martinez

Shadow Hills boys' cross country

What he did: Martinez was the top Knights' finisher and ran a personal-best time of 16 minutes, 39.1 seconds at the Woodbridge Classic in Irvine on Saturday. His time was good enough to medal.

Jenica Silvas

Twentynine Palms volleyball

What she did: Silvas had a fantastic week, leading the team with 11 kills in a win over Desert Mirage after leading the team in assists (12) and digs (27) in a 3-1 loss to undefeated Coachella Valley.
