Vote for the Austin-area girls high school athlete of the week
It's time to make your choice for the Austin-area girls high school athlete of the week for Jan. 15 through Jan. 20. Glenn basketball player Libby Lee was voted the top girls athlete for the week of Jan. 8-13.
This week's list includes a pair of soccer players along with three basketball players.

Here are this week's candidates:
Emy Chen, McCallum basketball
Scored 19 points with seven rebounds to lead the Knights (11-0 in District 24-5A) past second-place Navarro 47-42 on Jan. 19.
Amelia Clark, Lake Travis soccer
Scored twice to lead the Cavaliers to a 3-2 win over Westlake in District 26-6A. Clark has scored seven goals on the season.
Gabby Edo, Round Rock basketball
Recorded 10 or more rebounds and at least five blocked shots in wins over District 25-6A co-leaders Cedar Ridge (38-36) and Vista Ridge (52-33).
Lauren Hill, St. Michael's soccer
Scored four goals to lead the Crusaders past KIPP 7-0. Hill has scored 26 goals on the season (11 matches).
Jem Yowa, Pflugerville basketball
Scored 10 points with 12 rebounds in a 48-28 win over Elgin, then 17 points and 6 rebounds in a 62-24 win over Cedar Creek to move into third place in District 23-5A.
