Here's your 2024 Week No. 7 spring season nominees for Athlete of the Week, sponsored by Larson Ford.

The poll will close on Monday (May 27) at 10 p.m.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 6 winner Bethanne Doderer from the Central Regional softball team! The senior got 3,570 votes, which was 99.58% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 5 winner Ella Mason from the Rumson-Fair Haven girls flag football team! The senior got 72.66% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 4 winner Matt Avivi from the Manalapan boys lacrosse team! The junior got 80.65% of the votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 3 winner Sadie Honig from the Manalapan girls track and field team! The junior got 2,027 votes which was 91.80% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 2 winner Emily Zellman from the Southern Regional softball team! The sophomore got 1,933 votes which was 86.84% of the total votes.

  • Congrats to the Week No. 1 winner Nicole Knox from the Red Bank Catholic softball team! The junior had 3,510 votes which was 97.88% of the total votes.

Nominees:

A'layah Vincent, Long Branch, Sr. - Flag Football: So far on the season, she has 11 catches that have gone for 169 yards and six touchdowns.

Jake Marciano, Donovan Catholic, Sr. - Baseball: In a win over Colts Neck last Monday, the Virginia Tech commit struck out 16 batters and only let up two runs.

Madison McDougall, St. John Vianney, So. - Softball: In the nine innings pitched, she only let up two hits, no runs, and struck out 20 batters in a win over Central Regional on Friday.

Angelo Addiego, Southern, Sr. - Boys Volleyball: He had three digs, one block, four digs, 13 assists, and an ace served in a win over Barnegat on Monday.

Quinn Kelly, CBA, Sr. - Boys Lacrosse: The Harvard commit made a big takeaway in the final minutes of the SCT finals while facing a one-point deficit to help the Colts rally and beat Manasquan 5-4.

Sydney Kiernan, Rumson-Fair Haven, Fr. - Girls Lacrosse: The freshman answered the call at the SCT finals when she made six saves against Trinity Hall to help her team win the conference.

Jack Viola, Middletown North, So. - Boys Track and Field: The underclassmen finished first in the boys 100 meters dash finals with a mark of 11.53 at the Monmouth County Boys Frosh/Soph Championships.

Alexandria Scott, St. John Vianney, Sr. - Girls Track and Field: She finished first at the 400 meter hurdle finals with a time of 1:00.45 at the Shore Conference Championships.

Sourish Gadhi, Marlboro, Jr. - Boys Tennis: He dominated in the first singles against Holmdel (6-1, 6-2) to help his team win in the SCT semifinals.
