It’s party time for Isiah “Pop” Pacheco again on Landis Ave.

The City of Vineland will honor one of its favorite native sons and two-time Super Bowl champion on April 20 with a small parade before a ceremony on the steps of City Hall.

The parade will start at 4th and Landis Ave. at 11 a.m., according to Sheena Santiago, the city’s special event coordinator.

Pacheco, along with his family and friends, will ride aboard a double-decker bus to make the trip toward City Hall, escorted by Vineland's fire and police along the way.

Vineland mayor Anthony Fanucci and many of Pacheco's former coaches will be among the speakers at the ceremony, which will also include music from the Vineland High School band.

Pacheco earned his second Super Bowl title with a 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in February. He rushed for 59 yards in the victory.

A parade for Pop has become an annual tradition in town as this will be the third year in a row, the city will celebrate Pacheco for his accomplishments on the gridiron.

The City of Vineland honored Pacheco with a parade and key to the city in 2022 after he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.

Last spring, Pacheco returned home as a champion after the Chiefs knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.

The city threw a huge celebration for the running back, culminating before a jammed packed Gittone Stadium last April.

Pacheco, a 2018 graduate of Vineland High School, was a four-year captain and quarterback for the Fighting Clan. He rushed for over 3,100 yards and threw for more than 1,400 yards during his standout scholastic career.

At Rutgers, Pacheco rushed for 2,442 yards, which ranks seventh on the all-time list for the Scarlet Knights.
