Vermont compiled 18 assists and out-rebounded the Dukes 42-28.

Vermont coach Alisa Kresge on the win: "In practice we're able to put up some numbers and it wasn't translating (to games) so to finally see the confidence and then raise up and hit shots from a number of people ... was really good to see. It just felt like team basketball."

Additional note: Utterback played more of the point and had a game-high in assists. Kresge said she's challenging the fifth-year guard to both score and distribute as the Catamounts start conference play in early January.

VT: Lynn Kidd 17 points. Tyler Nickel 13 points. Hunter Cattoor 10 points.
