State Class C semifinal - Mount Academy 4, Waterford-Halfmoon 2: Jake Maendel scored twice and Chris Recinos and Alexis Mendoza once apiece for Section 9 champion Mount (16-1). Micahel Hibbs made six stops. For Waterford (19-3-1), Tristan Caratasu and josh Catanzarita scored. The Eagles advance to Sunday's title match vs. Elba-Byron-Bergen at 11:30 a.m. at Middletown High School.
