Vanderbilt men's basketball vs. Loyola-Chicago: Live updates, score

Vanderbilt men's basketball faces one of its most intriguing matchups of the year in Loyola-Chicago at 7 p.m. Friday (SEC Network+). The Ramblers (8-2) received votes in both the USA TODAY Coaches Poll and the AP Poll with their only two losses coming to top-25 teams Auburn and Michigan State.

The Commodores (5-3) are coming off of losses to SMU and Temple. Liam Robbins and Rodney Chatman are still expected to miss the game while recovering from injuries. Scotty Pippen Jr., who dealt with the stomach flu earlier in the week, is expected to play but was limited in practice.

Prior to the game, Vanderbilt will recognize the 1963 national champion Ramblers, who were the first college basketball team to start four Black players, including two from Nashville's Pearl High School, the same alma mater as Perry Wallace.
