The Commodores finally earned a win over Florida in Saturday's semifinal, winning against the Gators for the first time in five tries after being swept in Gainesville during the regular season and losing once earlier in the SEC Tournament.

The Aggies are the highest-seeded team to make the SEC Tournament final, as a 10-seed. Texas A&M had a resume solid enough to be comfortably in the NCAA Tournament next month, but the SEC Tournament run can only help improve the Aggies' standing.
