UWF Volleyball: Argos making their 17th consecutive NCAA tourney appearance

Yet another University of West Florida athletics program is heading to the big dance.

After winning the Gulf South Conference championship on Sunday, the UWF volleyball team earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Championship, first having to go through the South Regional.

The Argos earned the seventh seed in the region, and will face No. 2 Lynn University out of Boca Raton. The regional will be hosted by the University of Tampa – the No. 1 team in the country – as the top team in the region. Games will be played at the Bob Martinez Sports Complex on Tampa’s campus.
