UNCW baseball live updates, scores as Seahawks play for CAA Tournament title

UNCW baseball is one win away from its second straight CAA Tournament title.

No. 2-seeded UNCW picked up its second win in Game 8 of the 2024 CAA Baseball Tournament Saturday, defeating top-seeded College of Charleston 8-5. The Seahawks will face Delaware or Charleston at 12:30 p.m. Sunday (Game 10) for a chance at claiming the program's second consecutive CAA Tournament title.

Charleston's matchup with Delaware on Saturday was postponed entering the seventh inning due to inclement weather. The Cougars hold a 10-1 advantage over the Blue Hens and will resume play at 11 a.m. Sunday.

An if-necessary Game 11 will follow Sunday's Game 10 if UNCW loses. If the Seahawks, who have won seven CAA tournament titles, beat the CAA field, they would earn an automatic spot in the NCAA baseball tournament.
