Women’s bantamweights are set to square off Aug. 13.

At a UFC Fight Night event, Aspen Ladd (9-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Sara McMann (13-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) will square off. The event does not have a publicly-known location or venue at this time.

Two people with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the booking Friday to MMA Junkie but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. All Access MMA was first to report the booking.

Ladd, 27, has stayed relatively active with this her third fight in 10 months. She enters the UFC Fight Night event off back-to-back unanimous decision losses to Norma Dumont and Raquel Pennington.

McMann, 41, has won two of her most recent three outings. Since the beginning of 2020, McMann won a unanimous decision over Lina Lansberg, was submitted by Julianna Pena, and won a unanimous decision over Karol Rosa.

With the addition, the UFC Fight Night lineup for Aug. 13 includes:

  • Devin Clark vs. Azamat Murzakanov

  • Yazmin Jauregui vs. Istela Nunes

  • Gerald Meerschaert vs. Bruno Silva
