Two men charged with second-degree murder in Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade shooting
A pair of men were charged with second-degree murder and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action in the shooting that left 1 dead and 22 wounded at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl celebration,
Lyndell Mays and Dominic Miller were both charged.
Miller was charged Monday night, and charges against Miller were also made public Tuesday.

Prosecutor Jean Peters-Baker stated that an argument took place at the Chiefs rally, and Mays was the first person to pull out a gun. The prosecutor stated that multiple others pulled out firearms, including Dominic Miller.
Peters-Baker stated that it was Miller’s gun that fired the bullet that struck and killed Lisa Lopez-Galvan.
Both men are currently hospitalized due to injuries suffered during the shooting. They are being held on $1 million bond, each.
Last Friday, the juvenile office of the Jackson County Family Court Division charged two juveniles with gun possession and resisting arrest charges. Those cases are being worked through family court.
