Twitter reacts to Tom Brady retiring

For the second time — and final time it appears — Tom Brady retired from the NFL on Wednesday.

Brady sent out a heartfelt message on Twitter sharing he was retiring for good.

The former Michigan football quarterback turned into the GOAT in the pros. Brady played 20 years with the New England Patriots and three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The former sixth-round pick in 2000 finished his career with seven Super Bowl rings. Brady was a five-time Super Bowl MVP and three-time NFL MVP.

Brady ends his career ranked first-all time in the following categories:

  • Wins: 251

  • Pro Bowls: 15

  • Super Bowl MVP Awards: 5

  • Completions: 7,753

  • Attempts: 12,050

  • Passing Yards: 89,214

  • Passing Touchdowns: 649

While this is the second time Brady has announced his retirement, this time it feels like it’s the final one. Of course, there were a ton of reactions on social media after Brady announced his farewell.
