Twitter reacts to Chiefs’ Week 5 victory over Vikings

The Kansas City Chiefs secured a gritty win against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. The close 27-20 final score wasn’t what some analysts expected in the Sunday afternoon matchup, but Kansas City managed to do enough to earn their fourth victory of the 2023 season.

Patrick Mahomes didn’t throw an interception, Jawaan Taylor wasn’t penalized, and the Chiefs’ defense played sharp football in all four quarters to keep Minnesota’s prolific offense at bay.

Fans reacted to the game on Twitter, expressing their glee during Kansas City’s scoring plays, and disgruntlement on the Vikings’ final drive, when a last-second touchdown could have spelled disaster for the Chiefs.

Every game presents a new challenge for teams in the NFL, and Kansas City was certainly up to the task of meeting Minnesota head-on to advance their record to 4-1 during their 2023 championship defense campaign.
