What TV channel is Mizzou football at Georgia on? Time, TV schedule for MU in Athens

Ready or not, the Bulldogs are up.

Mizzou football will take on back-to-back defending national champion Georgia on Saturday afternoon in Athens, Georgia.

At stake: Control of the SEC East.

Missouri (7-1, 3-1 SEC) would control its own destiny in the division with a win at Sanford Stadium, but that’s no small task.

The Bulldogs (8-0, 5-0) have won a school-record 25 straight games and 34 straight regular-season games. Knocking off Missouri would all but wrap up their spot in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

Here’s everything you need to know about the matchup between the Tigers and the Bulldogs, including TV channel, streaming information, kickoff time and more:

Brady Cook directs a Missouri player during the Tigers' game against No. 1 Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at Faurot Field.

What time does Missouri at Georgia start?

Date: Saturday, Nov. 4

Time: 2:30 p.m. CDT (3:30 p.m. locally)

Missouri travels to Athens, Georgia, carrying its best ranking in the College Football Playoff committee’s poll in program history. The Tigers are No. 12 after Tuesday’s first rankings release of the season, while Georgia is No. 2, trailing only Ohio State.

Mizzou is also holding a nine-year high in the AP Top 25, coming in at No. 14 in Sunday’s poll.. There, Georgia sits No. 1.

The divisional race is pretty clear.

Missouri’s clearest — and most likely only — path to Atlanta is by winning out, and it must start with an upset of the Bulldogs.

Georgia can take a two-game lead in the East race with a win over MU. Victory wouldn’t clinch a berth to Atlanta, but the Dawgs would be all but booking their hotel.

The Tigers have only defeated UGA once in program history — in 2013, when James Franklin, Michael Sam and L’Damian Washington led Missouri to a 41-26 win at Sanford Stadium en route to an SEC Championship appearance.

Mizzou is a 15.5-point underdog in Athens, per BetMGM. The over/under for the game is 54.5 points.
