Tulare County's top high school spring sports performers for Week 8
The Times-Delta/Advance-Register will recognize Tulare County's top high school sports performers on a weekly basis this school year.
Coaches, please submit your results/top performers after each game, match or meet to sports reporter Vongni Yang at vyang2@gannett.com to have players highlighted.

March 27
Baseball
Dominic Alvarado, Central Valley Christian: Alvarado hit the walk-off single to help the Cavaliers beat Sanger 4-3 in nine innings. CVC captured the Fowler Easter Classic championship.
Aidan Robertson, Exeter: Robertson hurled 12 strikeouts and gave up two hits and a pair of walks in a 2-0 win over South Bakersfield. The Monarchs won the Ron Robinson Classic black bracket championship.
Ruben Ruiz, Exeter: Ruiz hit a double.
Cade McElmoyl, Exeter: McElmoyl had a hit and RBI.
Jaycob Molina, Exeter: Molina delivered a double.
Miles Munger, Exeter: Munger had a hit.
Memo Rosales, Woodlake: Rosales drove in the game-winning run and threw eight strikeouts in a 3-1 victory over Cesar Chavez in eight innings.

Zach Simmon, CVC: Simmon pitched a complete game to lead the Cavaliers to a 3-2 win over Dinuba. He fanned 12 batters in seven innings, and gave up two earned runs on four hits.
Caden Ritchie, CVC: Ritchie hit a walk-off single.
Case Anker, CVC: Anker had a hit and RBI.
Teague Brandenburg, CVC: Brandenburg added a hit and run.
Colin Horton, El Diamante: Horton led the Miners to a 15-4 victory versus De Toledo with a hit, two runs, two RBI and a pair of walks.
Caleb Silva, El Diamante: Silva launched a double with two runs, two RBIs and two walks.
Matthew Dykstra, El Diamante: Dykstra pounded a double with three RBIs.
Cole Martinez, El Diamante: Martinez had two hits, two RBIs, a run and stolen base.
Sal Avila, El Diamante: Avila added a hit, two RBIs, a run and stolen base.
Sebastian Aiello, El Diamante: Aiello finished with two hits, a RBI, two runs and stolen base.
Nick Reynoso, El Diamante: Reynoso went 2-for-2 hitting with two runs and a stolen base.

Jared Griffith, CVC: Griffith picked up the win, firing two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings as the Cavaliers downed Fowler 9-6.
Landon Holloway, CVC: Holloway delivered the save with two strikeouts in three frames.
Bryce Crook, CVC: Crook had two hits, including a double, and added two runs, two RBIs and a walk.
Teague Brandenburg, CVC: Brandenburg generated two hits, two runs, a RBI and stolen base.
Zach Simmon, CVC: Simmon had a hit, two RBIs, a run and walk.
Troy Loftin, El Diamante: Loftin smacked a triple and drove in three runs and scored another two as the Miners beat Kennedy 14-2.
Caleb Silva, El Diamante: Silva pounded a double with two RBIs, three runs and a pair of stolen bases.
Jacob Fagundes, El Diamante: Fagundes finished with a hit and RBI.
Gauga Rivas, El Diamante: Rivas registered two hits, three walks, a run and RBI.
Eddie Rhyman, El Diamante: Rhyman added a hit, RBI and two runs.
Kevin Baldwin, El Diamante: Baldwin picked up the win, throwing seven strikeouts in six innings. He gave up just one hit.
Nate Ramirez, Redwood: The winning pitcher, Ramirez tossed three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings to lead the Rangers to a 4-3 victory over Liberty-Madera Ranchos.
Jack Volchko, Redwood: Volchko threw 2 1/3 innings with a strikeout.
Erik Rico, Redwood: Rico went 2-for-2 hitting with two RBIs, a double, walk and stolen base.
Jaxon Griffiths, Redwood: Griffiths had a hit, run, two RBIs and a walk.
Isaac Esquivel, Redwood: Esquivel registered a pair of hits, including a double, and a run.
Wyatt McElree, Redwood: McElree had a hit and run.
Hunter Kittinger, Redwood: Kittinger blasted a double.
