Tuesday's Top Prep Performers from basketball and soccer

Highlights from Tuesday in high school sports:

GIRLS BASKETBALL

  • Karisma Lewis hit five 3-pointers and finished with 34 points, seven rebounds and seven steals, Sky Thomas had 12 points and seven rebounds, and Mimi Moon contributed 11 points and five assists to lead Buena (8-4) to a 78-41 victory over Foothill Tech on the first day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Mikayla Oliver scored 16 points, Aiyana Gonzalez had 13 points, Sienna Angel had eight points, and Kayla Lumas and Sofia Salgado each added seven points to lead Oxnard (11-3) to a 63-28 victory over Chatsworth on the first day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Sophia Fernandez had 10 points and eight rebounds, Sara Cosio finished with 10 points and four rebounds, Bella Rico had four points and four rebounds, and Cynthia Lemuz pulled down 10 rebounds to lead St. Bonaventure (7-4) to a 31-18 win over Frontier on the first day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Kira Jones and Jaelah Brown each scored 14 points, Amanda Wang had eight points, and Jillian McGillivray added seven points to lead Thousand Oaks to a 52-25 win over Pacifica on the first day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Camarillo defeated Agoura 68-14 on the first day of the Santa Clara Winter Classic.

  • Kierabella Coletta-Todd finished with 21 points, 17 rebounds and three steals, Greta Heath had 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals, Kimiko Carmer contributed eight points, five steals, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks, Skyler Komatsu had seven points, three rebounds and two assists, and Dana Cruz had six points and three rebounds as Newbury Park (12-1) beat Heritage Christian in the West Coast Holiday Tournament at Burroughs High to run its winning streak to 12 games.

BOYS BASKETBALL

  • Dylan Benner scored 25 points, Jeremy Goodcase had 12 points and Mathew Wilson added 11 points to lead St. Bonaventure (9-5) to a 73-69 victory over Burbank in the first round of the St. Francis Holiday HoopFest Tournament.

  • Austin Maziasz finished with 28 points, seven rebounds and three steals, Kayden Elsokary had 12 points, five assist, four steals and four rebounds, Danny Bao had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Aidan Delavari scored 10 points to lead Westlake (12-3) to a 70-56 win over Oak Hills in the first round of the St. Francis Holiday HoopFest Tournament.

  • Grayson Coleman scored 15 points, Tidiane Sy had 14 points and Tristan Cardoso added nine points to lead Calabasas (10-3) to a 65-37 win over Schurr in the SoCal Christmas Classic at South Pasadena.

  • Tyson Howarth scored 17 points, Levi Oakes had 11 points and Drake Howarth added nine points for Moorpark in its 63-55 loss to Golden Valley in the Hart Holiday Tournament.

  • Caymen Wimmer finished with 21 points and seven rebounds, Carter Reid had 14 points and nine rebounds, Mason Stueber had 13 points and five assists, and Tyler Pickett and Alex Klemz each scored 11 points to lead Hillcrest Christian to an 80-31 win over Compton Early College.

BOYS SOCCER

  • Rio Mesa beat Lakeview Charter 4-0 and tied Eastside 1-1 at the Hart Tournament. In the win, David Marmolejo, Ricky Juarez-Cuevas, Brandon Fuchs and Alejo Lopez scored goals and Jason Maldonado finished with three assists. In the draw, Marmolejo scored a goal off an assist from Rodrigo Ambriz and Gerardo Vargas had a strong game in net for the Spartans (7-6-2).
