Here are Tuesday's high school sports results for the Appleton area

Kaukauna's Kally Meredith is one of the top players for the Ghosts this season and has helped them earn the top spot in the Post-Crescent softball rankings.

In the girls meet, Xavier took first in the 3,200-meter relay (10:44.60), the 100 hurdles (Kate Jannette, :17.10), the 100 dash (Elle Downs, :13.10), the 800 relay (1:56.40), the 400 relay (:52.80) and the 800 (Lilie Fouts, 2:24.00).

New London’s Addison Marsh won the discus (95-10) and Kylie Jonson won the shot put (30-7.25). New London also won the 1,600 relay (4:18.40).

Seymour’s Lane Warner won the pole vault (9-6).

Natalie Bystol won the high jump for Shawano (4-8). Tela Hopfensperger won the 300 hurdles (:50.40). Grace Chelberg won the 1,600 (5:35.80). Adalyn Barkley won the 400 (1:00.80) and the 200 (:26.40).

In the boys meet, Shawano took first place in the pole vault (Drake Herm, 9-0), the 300 hurdles (Brandon Reed, :43.00) and the 200 (Logan Korth, :24.40).

Xavier got first-place finishes in the 110 (Ben Olvey, :15.30), the 1,600 (Ean Mares, 4:39.70), the 400 relay (:46.90), the 800 (Ean Mares, 2:03.10), the 3,200 (Noah Donnermeyer, 10:57.80) and the 1,600 (3:46.80).

New London’s Kyle Wisniewski won the high jump (5-8). New London won the 3,200 relay (9:35.10). Ian Oberstadt won the 400 (:54.90).

Seymour’s Conner Patz tied Drake Herm of Shawano in the pole vault (9-0). Elliot Maufort won the discus for Seymour (126-3). He also won the shot put (44-1.5). Walker Kaczrowski won the 100 (:11.10). Seymour won the 800 relay (1:39.70).

In the girls meet, Fox Valley Lutheran got first-place finishes in the 400-meter dash (Claire Fischer, 1:05.03), the 800 (Lauren Riesop, 2:36.44), the 1,600 (Kristin Donart, 5:59.26), the 300 hurdles (Alexa Gordee, :52.86), the 1,600 relay (4:24.47), the 3,200 relay (11:13.46), the shot put (Emma Nilson, 33-2.5), the discus (Emma Nilson, 118-9), the long jump (Gordee, 15-3) and the triple jump (Gordee, 35-2).

Little Chute’s Sierra Hoffman won the 200 (:27.59). The Mustangs won the 400 relay (:54.07).and the 800 relay (1:55.06).

Waupaca got a first-place finish in the 100 (Chamille Birdyshaw, :13.25).

Oconto Falls won the 3,200 (Hailey Delzer, 13:24.60) and the 100 hurdles (Brailyn St. Louis, :17.24).

Wrightstown’s Danielle Bruecker won the high jump (5-0).

In the boys meet, Fox Valley Lutheran’s first-place finishes came in the 100-meter dash (David Schumacher, :11.50), the 800 (Reed Curtis, 2:12.09), the 110 hurdles (Cavan Dobberstein, :15.79), the 300 hurdles (Cavan Dobberstein, :42.81), the high jump (Carsten Jungwirth, 5-8) and the long jump (Cavan Dobberstein, 20-4.5).

Little Chute took first in the 800 relay (1:38.74), the shot put (Wyatt Kilgas, 46-10.5) and the triple jump (Hunter Thiel, 41-9.75).

For Oconto Falls, Isaac Bramer won the 200 (:24.21), Ben Adams won the 3,200 (10:17.54) and the 3,200 relay team also won (9:30.07).

Waupaca got a first-place finish in the 400 (Phillip Masias, :55.32), the 1,600 (Owen Lencki, 4:58.13), the 400 relay (:47.72) and the 1,600 relay (3:39.23).

Wrightstown won the discus (Logan Peters, 144-1).

Green Bay East Quadrangular

In the girls meet, West De Pere got first-place finishes in the 100 (Katherine Smith, :13.11), the 200 (Katherine Smith, :27.13), the 800 (Kalli Vannieuwenhoven) 2:33.48), the 1,600 (Addison Cornewll, 6:20.84), the pole vault (Callaway Hartmann, 7-6), the triple jump (Allie Zuelke, 29-7.5) and the shot put (Madisyn Berggren, 30-9.75).

Menasha won the 400 relay (:53.73), the 1,600 relay (4:32.48), the 100 hurdles (Lilliana Banks, :17.76), the 300 hurdles (Megan Tesky, :50.30) and the high jump (Anna Maass, 4-6).

Green Bay West won the 800 relay (2:02.51), the long jump (Adriana Moyano, 15-9.75) and the discus (Lanae Steele, 87-10).

Green Bay East won the 400 (Adriana Garcia, 1:04.68).

In the boys meet, Green Bay East took first place in the 1,600 relay (3:44.89), the 100 (Seth Weatherspoon, :11.67), the 800 (Huw Griffiths, 2:11.48), the 1,600 (Huw Griffiths, 4:55.14), the 110 hurdles (Kayden Fenlon, :16:07), the 300 (Kayden Fenlon, :43.42), the high jump (Hayden Josephs, 5-6), the pole vault (Kayden Fenlon, 10-0) and the triple jump (Hayden Josephs, 37-11).

Menasha won the 400 relay (time not listed), the long jump (NovaVang, 19-.5) and the shot put (Ethan Farr, 39-6).

West De Pere won the 800 relay (1:44.53), the 3,200 relay (9:46.03), the 200 (Daekwon Smith, :23.35) and the 400 (Collin Jindra, :55.51).

Green Bay West won the discus (D’Wuan Hamilton, 123-9).

In the girls meet, Winneconne had first-place finishes in the 200 (Joey Perry, :25.87), the 800 (Sophie Yetter, 2:22.98), the 1,600 (Keali Prahl, 6:26.43) and the shot put (Emily Schell, 36-0.5).

Waupun won the 400 relay (:53.05), the long jump (Michielah Borchardt, 15-8) and the discus (Michielah Borchardt, 120-4).

In the boys meet, Winneconne got first-place finishes in the 200 (Vincent Duncan, :24.00), the 400 (Riggs Nelson, :51.64), the 800 (Ben Harmon, 2:14.44), the 1,600 (Grant Wenzelow, 4:57.70), the 3,200 (Oliver Aberle, 10:56.85), the 400 relay (:45.84), the 800 relay (1:39.44), the 1,600 relay (3:58.22), the shot put (Josh Grignon, 46-1), the discus (Brady Immel, 157-7) and the long jump (Ben Harmon, 19-5.5).

Waupun did not have any first-place finishes.

BASEBALL

Hortonville 13, Oshkosh North 0

OSHKOSH - The Polar Bears blew open a close game with an 11-run fourth inning to post the Fox Valley Association victory as Nathan Vela tossed a five-inning no-hitter.

Vela finished with two walks and five strikeouts.

Brett Sommer was 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs. Camden Kuhnke was 2-for-2 with a double, a triple and three RBIs, and Joe Fischer was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Polar Bears.

Xavier 4, Menasha 1

MENASHA - Luke Krull was 2-for-2 with two runs scored, Anthony Weyers was 2-for-3 with a run scored, and Matt Potter added a double and scored a run to power the Hawks to the Bay Conference win.

Parker Bleck pitched the complete-game win, allowing one earned run and one walk, while striking out eight.

Menasha was paced by Brice Duszak, who was 2-for-3 with a double, and Lane Boucher, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Cedar Grove-Belgium 5, St. Mary Catholic 4

CEDAR GROVE - The Rockets scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to hand the Zephyrs just their second loss of the year.

Cedar Grove-Belgium opened the scoring with a four-run fourth, but St. Mary Catholic answered with four runs of its own in the fifth.

Jacob Norris was 2-for-3, while Carter Schmitz drove in a pair of runs.

Jude Ackeret picked up the win in relief, going six innings, allowing one hit, one unearned run and one walk, while striking out 13.

Aidan Birling led the Zephyrs with three hits.

Matt Betchner and Colin Nigl combined to pitch 9⅓ innings, allowing five runs - one earned - while walking four and striking out 14.

SOFTBALL

Oshkosh West 5, Neenah 1

NEENAH - The Wildcats were held to five hits but took advantage of four Rockets errors in the victory.

Brianna Bougie held Neenah to one run on three hits, while striking out eight.

Laina Hammen had two hits, including a double, for Oshkosh West. Kathryn Bergin, Chloe Tritt and Emmy Reichenberger each had one hit for the Wildcats.

West De Pere 12, Xavier 8

DE PERE - West De Pere took advantage of seven walks and 12 Xavier errors en route to the Bay Conference win.

Jade Kruse was 3-for-5, while Ella Arendt drove in a pair of runs to power the Phantoms.

Leading the Hawks were Ella Bauman, who was 2-for-4 with four RBIs, Addison Hervey, who was 2-for-3, and Abby Ourada, who had a pinch-hit double to drive in three runs.

West De Pere scored twice in the third, five in the fourth, one in the fifth and two in the sixth and seventh innings to hold off Xavier.

The Hawks scored three times in the third, four in the fourth and one in the sixth.

St. Mary Catholic 22, Cedar Grove-Belgium 0

CEDAR GROVE - The Zephyrs scored a dozen runs in the first inning and five runs in both the second and third innings on their way to a shutout.

The first nine hitters for SMC reached base and they collected nine hits and four walks to open the game. Nevaeh Saringer and Emily Vogel hit back-to-back home runs for the Zephyrs. Saringer belted a three-run shot and Vogel a solo homer. Saringer and Allie Strande each recorded two hits in the inning with four and three RBIs, respectively.

Five Rockets errors in the second inning led to an RBI double by Sammi Weiss, an RBI single by Vogel and a two-run double by Saringer.

In the third inning, after two were out and the bases empty, SMC manufactured five runs on seven hits and a walk. Vogel drove in two more with a double.

Saringer and Vogel both finished 3-for-3 with a triple each short of the cycle. Saringer scored twice and drove in six runs and Vogel scored three times and drove in four.

Adel Schneider went 2-for-3 with three runs, Allie Strande was 2-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and three driven in, Chloe Vogel scored four times, Addison Moder and Teagan Miller both went 2-for-4 with an RBI each, and Weiss went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and runs scored.

Maya Claerbaut went 1-for-2 with the lone hit for Cedar Grove-Belgium.

Weiss earned her first varsity win for the Zephyrs, giving up a walk and a hit with six strikeouts over three innings.

Katelyn Morris took the loss for the Rockets, surrendering 19 hits, five walks, and 22 runs (17 earned) while striking out three.

SMC improves to 7-1 in conference and 8-5 overall.

GIRLS SOCCER

Appleton North 3, Appleton West 0

APPLETON - Mari Ward had the lone goal in the first half for the Lightning while Madisen Hacker and Kalli Drexler followed up with goals in the second half for North to secure a win on its own pitch.

Brinley Dunsirn, Alivia Greer and Hacker each assisted on goals.

North keeper Serena Jaber secured the shutout.

Kimberly 3, Kaukauna 0

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers scored two goals in the first half in the victory over the Ghosts.

Emily Urban, Jenna Scholz and Senah Hanes scored for Kimberly. Abby Lom had two assists and Hanes also had an assist.

Kimberly goalie Lauren Heckert made two saves.

Oshkosh West 8, Hortonville 0

OSHKOSH - The Wildcats scored seven goals in the first half in the victory at Titan Stadium.

Laney Wiebel scored three goals for Oshkosh West. Ellianna Noe, Brenna Gehri, Elieisha Schimmel, Lyla Wesenberg and Jenna Brewer also scored.

Hannah Wolf and Ava Strasser shared time in goal for the shutout.

Ripon 3, Waupaca 0

RIPON - Ellerie Rost scored two goals in the first half in the Tigers’ victory over the Comets.

Karsyn Bauman added a goal in the second half for Ripon.

Ripon goalie Hailee Scheier made three saves.

Kiel 8, Wrightstown 0

WRIGHTSTOWN - Taavi Saeger scored three goals and Taylor Schad added two goals and an assist to power the Raiders to the nonconference win.

Also scoring goals for Kiel were Sage August, Aubrey Arnold and Lydia Vander Meer. Arnold added two assists, while Vander Meer and Abby Moore added one each.

Wrightstown goalkeeper Ava Krueger made seven saves, while Kiel’s Kyleigh Kroll was not tested.
