Tua Tagovailoa’s parents thank fans for supporting their son
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had one of the most action-packed 2022 seasons of anybody in the NFL.
He started off the year playing at an MVP level, setting career highs in passing yards (3,548) and touchdowns (25) while leading the league in passer rating (105.5). However, two confirmed concussions, and another instance that was never confirmed, led to the quarterback missing four full games and missing time in two others.
The head injuries scared a lot of people, including his family, teammates and fans watching.
At the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame, where the Crimson Tide product was named the Polynesian Offensive Player of the Year, Tagovailoa’s parents spoke with KHON about the support that their son received throughout the season.

It has to be extremely difficult to watch their child sustain the injuries that he did, but Tagovailoa sure does have a lot of people who support him.
