TSSAA state soccer top performers: Merrol Hyde to face Liberty Creek for 1A title Saturday

The TSSAA state soccer tournament began Wednesday in Chattanooga with 32 teams vying for a state title in five classifications.

Here are the top performers from each game of the tournament.

Thursday

Division II-A

Allie Broadway, ECS: Broadway had a goal and two assists as ECS knocked off two-time defending DII-A state champs, USJ, 3-0, Thursday to advance to Friday's state championship game.

Rachel Cochran, ECS: Cochran had eight saves in a game in which USJ outshot ECS 18-11.

Laura Anna Howard, ECS: Howard posted two goals with five shots.

Julia Giolo, St. George's: Giolo's nine shots produced a goal as St. George eliminated Silverdale with a 2-1 win Thursday in the semifinals.

Pippa Rhodes, St. George's: Rhodes also scored a goal as St. George will face ECS in the DII-A state championship game at 3 p.m. (CT) Friday.

Abigail Witten, Silverdale: Witten had her team's lone goal in the loss.

Division II-AA

Zoe Misenhimer, Baylor: Misenhimer scored in the 35th minute and Baylor went on to a 2-0 victory over Hutchison to advance to the DII-AA state title game.

Elizabeth Silva, Baylor: Silva scored a goal as Baylor outshot Hutchison 15-5 and had 10 corner kicks in the game. Baylor will face Harpeth Hall in Friday's 5:30 p.m. (CT) title game as the program seeks its 10th state title.

Breahn Fisher, Ensworth: Fisher scored her team's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Harpeth Hall in the state semifinals. Fisher had eight shots with four on goal in the loss.

Quinn Erim, Harpeth Hall: Erim got one of her six shots to find the net as Harpeth Hall advances to its first state championship game since 2021 and fifth overall.

Helen Ghertner, Harpeth Hall: Ghertner finished with a goal and assist as Harpeth Hall looks for the program's third state title Friday.

Class 1A

Emma Johnson, Liberty Creek: Johnson had seven shot and four on goal while scoring a goal as Liberty Creek advanced to its first ever state championship game, beating Kingston, 2-1 in Thursday's semifinal.

Adalyn Medina, Liberty Creek: Medina also scored a goal as Liberty Creek rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit and will face Merrol Hyde for the state title at 10 a.m. (CT) Saturday.

Gabriella Cruz, Merrol Hyde: Cruz scored a goal In Merrol Hyde's 2-0 semifinal win over Westview.

Bella Henderson, Merrol Hyde: Henderson added a goal as the Lady Hawks look to capture their third straight state crown.

Class 2A

Anna Shaw, Greeneville: Shaw recorded a pair of goals as Greenville got past Signal Mountain, 3-0, to advance to Saturday's state title game.

Gabi Stayton, Greeneville: Stayton added a goal for Greeneville who will be searching for the program's fifth state title and third and four years when it faces Station Camp at 12:30 p.m. (CT) Saturday.

Kennedy Dean, Station Camp: Dean broke a scoreless game in the 73rd minute that led to Station Camp's 3-0 semifinal win over South Gibson.

Elle Lassiter, Station Camp: Lassiter added a goal and assist as Station Camp outshot South Gibson, 33-4.

Ayden Wood, Station Camp: Wood took 12 shots and scored a goal as the Lady Bison look for the program's first title.

Class 3A

Jayla Blue, Bearden: Blue scored a goal as Bearden returns to the state championship game for the third straight year.

Nyla Blue, Bearden: Nyla Blue also scored a goal as the Lady Bulldogs will face Ravenwood for the 3A title at 3 p.m. (CT) Saturday.

Alivia Scott, Bearden: Scott added a goal on six shots.

Abigail Dibbie, Ravenwood: It only took one goal and Dibbie provided it as Ravenwood dropped Collierville, 1-0, to advance to its first state title game since 2020.

Wednesday

Class 1A

Claire Perry, Cascade: Perry had 12 saves and endured 18 shots on goal in a 6-0 loss to Kingston in the state quarterfinals.

Zeva Phillips, CSAS: Phillips scored a pair of goals in the second half to tie CSAS' quarterfinal game against Westview and send it to shootout before losing 2-2 (6-5).

Madalyn Bailey, Kingston: Bailey had 15 shots, six on goal, and had a goal as Kingston.

Emery Conway, Kingston: Conway added a pair of goals as Kingston outshot Cacade 38-1.

Alex Roney, Kingston: Roney also finished with two goals.

Micah Cook, Liberty Creek: Cook had four shots on goal and scored once as Liberty Creek posted a pair of goals in the first and second half for a 4-0 win over Lakeland Prep.

Addy Lee, Liberty Creek: Lee scored a pair of goals as Liberty Creek advanced to face Kingston in the semifinal.

Sydney Arezza, Merrol Hyde: Arezza scored one of three goals for Merrol Hyde who knocked out Madison Magnet in the quarterfinals.

Reagan Hudson, Merrol Hyde: Hudson also scored as Merrol Hyde will face Westview Thursday.

Presley Altapeter, Merrol Hyde: Altapeter scored a goal.

Ashlee Brent, Westview: Brent had a pair of goals, one in each half.

Harper Jones, Westview: Jones had the game-clinching goal in the shootout as Westview advances to the 4 p.m. semifinal on Thursday against Merrol Hyde.

Class 2A

McKenzie Duggan, Dyersburg: Duggan had 10 saves in a 8-2 loss to Greeneville in the quarterfinal.

Breanna Carroll, Franklin County: Carroll finished with 12 saves in a 3-0 loss to Station Camp in which Franklin County was outshot 30-6.

Abigail Adkins, Greeneville: Adkins scored a pair of goals as Greeneville had 31 shots on goal.

Kiley Scott, Greeneville: Scott also finished with two goals.

Anna Shaw, Greeneville: Shaw recorded a hat trick and added an assist as Greeneville advances to a 4 p.m. semifinal game against Signal Mountain Thursday.

Silvia Shirey, Hume-Fogg: Shirey had three goals in a 4-3 loss to Signal Mountain in the quarterfinals. Shirey had 10 shots and six on goal.

Hannah Peavy, Signal Mountain: Peavy recorded seven saves in goal as Signal Mountain dropped Hume-Fogg, 4-3 in the 2A quarterfinals.

Caroline Usery, Signal Mountain: Usery had six shots, four on goal and scored a goal as Signal Mountain broke a 1-1 tie with three goals in the second half.

Sierra Healy, South Gibson: Healy combined with teammate Aubrey Colvin to produce 11 shots on goal while Healy had South Gibson's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Tennessee to advance to the 2A semifinals.

Elle Lassiter, Station Camp: Lassiter had eight shots and scored a goal as the Lady Bison knocked off Franklin County, 3-0 to advance to Thursday's semifinal.

Ayden Wood, Station Camp: Wood had 12 shots and assisted on a goal as Station Camp advanced to face South Gibson Thursday.

Chloe Shelley, Tennessee: Shelley had 15 saves in goal for the Lady Vikings.

Class 3A

Jayla Blue, Bearden: Blue had five shots on goal (12 shots total) and scored a goal with an assist as Bearden knocked off Houston, 2-1 in the quarterfinals.

Alivia Scott, Bearden: Scott recorded nine shots on goal and had a goal and assist as Bearden advanced to Thursday's 6:30 p.m. semifinal.

Cruiz Christie, Collierville: Christie had a goal in Collieville's 3-0 win over Dobyns-Bennett to secure a spot in Thursday's semifinal.

Lily Reafsnyder, Collierville: Reafsnyder kept a clean sheet with seven saves in goal.

Hilary Shikuku, Collierville: Shikuku added a goal as Collierville will face Ravenwood at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Presley Williams, Collierville: Williams started the scoring with a goal in the 14th minute for the Lady Dragons.

Sienna Elder, Franklin: Elder took four shots, two on goal and scored a goal as Franklin got past Walker Valley, 3-0.

Ellen McDonough: McDonough added a goal as Franklin advanced and will face Bearden in Thursday's semifinal.

Laila McNamee, Houston: McNamee had eight saves in the loss for the Lady Mustangs.

Abigail Dibbie, Ravenwood: Dibbie had a goal and assist as the Lady Raptors pulled away from Oakland in the second half for a 2-1 victory to advance to the semifinals.

Addison Howell, Ravenwood: Howell scored Ravenwood's second goal in the second half after trailing Oakland 1-0 at halftime.
