Trevor Siemian to start vs. Patriots likely signaling end of Zach Wilson’s time in New York
Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Wednesday quarterback Trevor Siemian will start Week 18 against the New England Patriots. This will be Siemian’s third start for the Jets in their season finale in Foxborough.
Siemian starting also likely signals the end of Zach Wilson’s time in New York. The Jets will likely explore trading the 2021 No. 2 overall pick this offseason as the push all in with Aaron Rodgers for 2024.
If this is it for Wilson, he’ll leave with a record of 12-21 and completing 57 percent of his passes for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns and 25 touchdowns.
