Top teams, performances from Section 4 girls swimming and diving championships
Horseheads, Maine-Endwell and Watkins Glen repeated as team champions Saturday during the finals of the three Section 4 girls swimming and diving championship meets.
At Watkins Glen High School, Horseheads won Class A and Watkins Glen took Class C. Maine-Endwell was the top Class B team at its home pool.
The sectional title was the fourth in a row for Horseheads. M-E also made it four straight championships and Watkins Glen secured a seventh straight.
Diving was held Friday.

Qualifying athletes will compete in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association and Federation championships Nov. 17 and 18 at the Webster Aquatic Center near Rochester.
Corning's Angie McKane will be among those competing after winning state titles in the 100-yard butterfly and 50 freestyle last year.
Divers Brooke Terwilliger of Corning and Kaelyn Katchuk of Owego Free Academy have traded records and top scores all season and are both title hopefuls.
