Tony Romo correctly predicts exact score of Bills-Chiefs game during CBS broadcast

Tony Romo and Jim Nantz work in the CBS broadcast booth before a game between the Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals. Nantz and Romo were inseparable when CBS broadcast the Super Bowl two years ago. Next week, they won't see each other until they are in the broadcast booth a couple hours prior to kickoff. Keeping announcers separated until game day has been standard practice this season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Romostradamus has returned.

CBS analyst Tony Romo has built a reputation for calling out plays before they happen. This time he predicted a final score.

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs rematch of last year's 42-36 overtime playoff thriller was billed as a potential shootout. Romo wasn't buying it.

"To me, this is not going to be a high-scoring game, Jim (Nantz)," Romo said with 5 minutes, 33 seconds remaining in the first quarter. "Because these two defenses are going to make you drive the field. The clock is going to run a lot because they're going to be consistently checking it down, running the football. Every once in awhile you'll get a big play. This is going to be a 24-20 type of game."

The Bills won, 24-20.
